'Spinners was fantastic, decorated and finished to a high standard, with a lovely open fire that was a welcome treat after strong northerly cold winds and snow! In our 3 days we managed to enjoy a lovely walk up Great Whernside near Kettlewell, only about 30 mins drive away. Also the Middleham Racing Stables open day is a good morning out to see the 1000 + horses at close hand! Within and around Well itself there are some nice walks which we enjoyed + rewarded ourselves with a lovely meal and drinks at the local pub – Excellent!'

'Wow, is just one of the words I can use to express how much we have enjoyed this break. We feel like we have been on weeks break. You have really decorated it to a high standard and we feel like home from home and will definitely be back in the summer. Harry our little dog has really enjoyed his long walks and sleeping next to the fire. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family (or we could just keep it to ourselves and have it as our little secret hide away). Thanks again for a lovely break.'

As you can see we have packed in quite a lot here and the nicest thing was to be able to come back to this lovely cottage with a real fire and just relax!'

'We have really enjoyed our stay at Spinners and had a couple of meals at the Milbank Arms, both of which were lovely. We went to Aysgarth Falls for the afternoon and it was a lovely picnic spot - if the weathers good! Also did 'How Stean Gorge' and although this was good our 4 year old was a bit scared of the cave. We had lovely weather and brought with us our girls paddling pool. The decor and homely feel of the cottage is very quaint yet modern. We loved it and would happily have stayed longer, many thanks.'

'Beautiful cottage, superb decor. Meals at the Milbank pub excellent. Enjoyed Wensleydale and Wharfdale, Grassington, Hebdon, Burnsall particularly scenic. Yorkshire Moors, Osmotherly, Helmsley – interesting villages!'

'We've had a fantastic weekend break. Absolutely adore the cottage, it is extremely clean and the décor superb. Immediately felt at home, it's a great place to relax and unwind. The food and atmosphere at the Milbank were excellent.'
Places of interest were:
Aysgarth Falls - High Force / Low Force water falls which were breath taking
Fountains Abbey, especially when flood lit at night…amazing
Brimham Rocks were great fun and gave fantastic views over the Dales
